Joyce Stannard
Joyce's life has been taken over by Pyreneans for the last 40 years. She became a Club member in 1956, was made an Honorary Life Member in 1978, a Vice-President in 1979; became Vice-Chairman in 1984 and has held the office of Chairman since 1987. During her 35 years as a Committee member Joyce has been responsible for the following :- 1968 started the International Film Exchange, organised the original handbook of the Pyrenean published by the club in 1970 and the Special Golden Jubilee Handbook published in 1986. Started the Club Shop in 1970 and remained its Manager for the following 10 years. In 1975 prepared and published the first of the bi-annual Member's Guides and produced the first five issues. In 1989 inaugurated the annual Bridget Olerenshaw Painting and Photo Competitions and in 1990 took over as Editor of the new "International" magazine. Current contact for the Club's weekly advertisement in Exchange and Mart.
  Colin Bowker
Colin has owned Pyreneans for thirty years and been a successful exhibitor for the last twenty, making up eight English Champions whilst winning more than eighty-five Challenge Certificates. He is a Championship Show Judge and in recent years has been actively involved in the administration of the Club; his particular interests being the Breed Standard, the Judging Courses and the Club's Videos which he has produced since their inception - to this end he has attended both the French and Italian Specialties and travelled extensively in the Pyrenees.

Having dealt with the onerous task of Cup Steward for over ten years, Colin became Vice-Chairman in 1987. He has been responsible for researching all the Champions and their pedigrees for the purpose of the book; the setting up of the Breed Standard Sub-Committee and the resultant compilation of this important chapter.
