List of Approved Judges
Criteria for
judges:
-
Fulfils
all requirements of the A3 List.
-
Has
been assessed in accordance with Kennel Club
requirements.
-
Accepted
by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an A2 List.
-
Has the
support of the Pyrenean Mountain Dog Club of Great
Britain.
A3
List of Approved Judges (Breed Specialists)
Minimum Criteria
for judges:
-
To have a minimum of
seven years judging experience in the breed.
-
To have judged at least
one Breed Club Show.
-
To have judged the
breed at six Open Shows, with an adequate
geographical spread.
-
To have judged a
minimum of thirty classes.
-
To have judged a
minimum of one hundred and forty dogs.
-
To have attended a
seminar, given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer,
on Confirmation and Movement
-
To have attended a
seminar, given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer,
and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club
Regulations and Judging Procedures.
-
To have attended at
least one breed specific seminar run in accordance
with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice
and passed an examination and/or assessment, where
applicable.
-
To have bred and/or
owned a minimum of three dogs when they obtained
their first entry in The Kennel Club Stud Book (save
in exceptional circumstances).
-
To have attended and
passed at least two judging seminars.
-
To have stewarded for a
minimum period of three years and at twelve shows.
-
To have the support of
the Pyrenean Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain.
A3
List of Approved Judges (Non-Specialists)
Minimum Criteria
for judges:
-
To have a minimum of
seven years judging experience in any one breed (to
include five years in this breed)..
-
To have judged at least
one Breed Club Show and/or two Breed Club Supported
Entry Shows.
-
To have judged the
breed at five Open Shows or Championship Shows
without CCs, with an adequate geographical spread.
-
To have judged a
minimum of twenty five classes.
-
To have judged a
minimum of one hundred dogs.
-
To have awarded CCs in
at least one other breed in the Working or Pastoral
Groups.
-
To have attended at
least one breed judging seminar.
-
To have attended a
seminar, given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer,
on Confirmation and Movement.
-
To have attended and
passed a Hands-on-Assessment delivered by a Kennel
Club Accredited Trainer. Requirement from
01/07/2005
-
To have attended a
seminar, given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer,
and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club
Regulations and Judging Procedures.
-
To have attended at
least one breed specific seminar run in accordance
with the relevant kennel Club Code of Best Practice
and passed an examination and/or assessment, where
applicable.

To have stewarded for a

they obtained their first entry in The Kennel Club

breed.

classes in this breed at Open Shows.

dogs of this breed.

To have attended a Kennel
Club 'Requirements Of A Show Judge' seminar.

To have stewarded at a
minimum of three shows.
B

Minimum Criteria
for judges:

To have shown an
interest in the breed.

To have the support of
the Pyrenean Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain.
The C List would
normally include persons who have judged the breed at
Limited or Open Shows but who do not yet qualify for the
B List.
Roll
Of Honour
Minimum Criteria
for judges:
-
To have previously been
included in the A List of Approved Judges.
-
To have elected not to
accept further appointments.
